Ms. Shermine Dajani

CEO - PanMed Energy, Jordan

A business executive with more than thirty years experience, Ms. Shermine Dajani has provided consultancy services to international groups operating in the energy sector and seeking to access the Middle Eastern market.

Among these successful collaborations is work with Tractebel Engineering on the Arab Gas Pipeline project, on the site selection and the characterization of the nuclear power station in Jordan as well as on Aqaba gas master plan.

Her companies represented Thales in Iraq and Jordan. Involved in the Jordanian IT and telecommunications sector, she is the Director of the Jordan Regional IT & Software Engineering Center. 

She is a founding shareholder in Medgrid. Panmed Energy is the only Jordanian company to partner in Medgrid, a French based company, which is an alliance of twenty one leading energy companies from Europe and the MENA region. Medgrid was established within the framework of the Solar Plan of the Union for the Mediterranean, to study the feasibility of the Mediterranean grid interconnection master plan.

Ms. Dajani heads the E-Education Regional Company, a non for profit company based in Jordan, which focuses on synchronizing technological advancements through projects aiming on education, women and youth leadership. In 2013, she was elected member of the Board of the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Jordan (CAFRAJ). Ms. Dajani is a member of the International Women’s Forum (IWF). She has served for several years on the boards of the Seeds of Peace USA and the Jordan Duty Free Shops.

Ms. Dajani participates, on regular basis, in international conferences as a speaker on energy and women issues and is the recipient of the Légion d’honneur from the French Republic.
